The owners of Marble Global Buffet have taken over the large basement site in Queen Street, which used to house Cube nightclub.
The restaurant has capacity for more than 200 diners, serving cuisine from around the world.
Self-service bays with live cooking stations behind are marked with different food styles, including dim sum, continental, teppanyaki.
As well as Chinese and Japanese, the restaurant offers Indian curries, Italian pasta and pizza and a range of desserts.
